Lessons are 45 minutes
The teacher uses gentle hands-on guidance and verbal directions. You learn to become aware of, and then gradually strip away, the habits of movement, tension, and reaction that interfere with natural and healthy coordination.

Alexander Technique takes time to learn, think and coordinate. It is recommended to begin with a series of 6 lessons to realize some big changes in your daily activities. Walking, sitting, running, picking something up, you will start using your body differently. 
This is the most beneficial way to learn the Alexander Technique, as it allows you to work with the teacher on your individual habits of movement, which vary from person to person.


Group Workshop

Learning in group settings, through workshops or courses can be helpful in several ways. Introductory workshops and courses can be a good way to familiarize yourself with the basic concepts of the Alexander Technique. It may also serve a specific goal in the themed workshop

Introduction to Alexander Technique

This is an hour and a half introduction workshop, to discover the practical method for improving the quality of body movement, balance, and coordination, resulting in muscular-skeletal freedom ease, and relief from tension, chronic pain, and stiffness.
In this workshop, I’ll introduce you to the idea of the use of the self, how one can acquire it and incorporate it into everyday life. We will talk and learn to apply the basic principles of the technique and look at some tools to start using immediately.

Company / team workshop

This is a great opportunity to bring some conscious and productive physical activity to your team. Whether your group is coming back to the office from COVID isolation or just needs refreshed view on working space, this workshop will be very beneficial. 

We will:

  • Learn about Alexander Technique

  • Look at primary use of the self applicable to office work.

  • Move around in constructive conscious control of our bodies.

  • Review and understand personal habits of the working space 

  • Get some practical tips on adding ease and releasing tension during the day.

Sports and movement workshop

A special workshop can help to apply the Alexander Technique to particular activities like yoga or dancing, and in a special setting like skiing or swimming. 

We will look at practicing physical activity, and repetitive motions without building tension and with understanding what feeds to your ability to exercise and move without sacrificing your body.
